Vera Dress in Canvas Green Palm Springs Tiki

Availability: In stock

$148.00
A refreshing new style has arrived from Couture For Every Body and her name is Vera! Oh, what a gal! The Vera Dress is a dream of a dress and is sure to be your new favorite style. She features a beautiful bust design, carefully stitched with care, that gives a small curved and bullet bra-inspired look. The thick adjustable straps ensure comfort while accommodating a wide range of bust sizes. A full gathered skirt adds a flirtatious feel and you won’t need to add an underskirt for extra fluff. Why? Because the Vera already comes with a built-in underskirt, thanks to her designer Laura Byrnes. Wear her to a concert, to brunch, or to the office, you can dress her up with a pair of heels or keep it casual with sandals or flats. Completed with a back zipper, the Vera Dress is a style you won’t want to have missing from your closet.

This print for our Tiki Capsule Collection is limited edition. Once she is sold out, she is gone until next summer! Don't hesitate to buy this great piece.

Proudly made in the USA of imported goods.

I love the style of this dress. Unfortunately, it does not love me. I ordered it first in the 2x. It arrived in about a week. It was so baggy. I returned it for the 1x. It took several weeks for it to arrive. Now, it's too tight. The top also makes it impossible for me to wear a bra without part of it showing. (As a 38G, I need to wear one). The tag popped off, so I can't return it. (I don't know where it is anyway.) The color is great. The material is great. I love the attached canvas pettiskirt. I'm just not happy about the fit or the amount of time it took to receive. (Posted on 11/11/2016)

I love the Vera dress! I hope PUG starts making these in many more colors and prints, as I really feel like this could be my "holy grail" dress.

A little background on me: I'm a fuller hourglass (46-32-46). My previous favorite dress was the Jenny (I have many colors.) The problem with the Jenny - for me at least - is my boobs get a bit squished in the chest and the straps do little to hide a supportive bra. The Vera solves this problem by having one of the most supportive busts I've ever encountered in a dress. Furthermore, if you're deadset on wearing a bra, the straps are thick enough to hide it. Add to it the fact that it has a ~built in~ underskirt and I'm absolutely hooked. (Posted on 10/14/2016)

I don't usually get anything I can't wear to work. I *never* spend $100+ on something I can't wear to work (what can I say? I work almost every single day). And I'm very pleased with this investment. The fabric quality is very high (for some reason I was surprised that it was both substantial but with a nice bit of stretch), the cut and drape is great, and the print is exactly fantastic (Mid Century Modern for the win!). It's extremely comfortable too. I can see myself effortlessly enjoying the entire evening without worrying about ummm, contents shifting during transit. (Posted on 9/29/2016)

I love this dress. The print is obnoxious in a super cute way, the canvas is flexible but holds shape really well, and the built-in underskirt is perfectly fluffy without being too much. My only disappointment is the lack of pockets, but I can see why they weren't included - it seems like they would defeat the purpose of a light underskirt. (Posted on 9/19/2016)

I bought this dress after seeing it on Instagram. I was hoping that it would all I thought it would be, and it truly delivers! I am not a large busted woman but this dress accents you in all the right places - bust and hips. ANYONE will look amazing in this dress! I am a 12/14 and I bought an XL. It fits like a dream! Can't wait to wear it! The quality of the material is great and it has just enough stretch to make it very comfortable while still maintaining accents on your figure. (Posted on 9/16/2016)

I have never purchased an item from PUG that fit so well without alteration! This dress is excellent for petite people - the waist hits in the right place and the skirt length is very nice. The bust on this fits my 30E chest perfectly with wonderful shaping, and I do not need to wear a bra with it. It has slots to add bullet bra pads, but I prefer it without and appreciate that the masterful construction of the cups give a subtle bullet look without pads. The built-in underskirt is nice and gives just the right amount of fluff without the bother of a petticoat.

I do wish that this dress had pockets, although I realize that might be complicated with the underskirt. Also, the way the straps attach in the back, they form a subtle 'V' shape, which means that if you do need the support of a bra, the straps will show. Finally, the straps are a little bit too wide for the adjustable plastic sliders, which can make adjusting them trickier than on other PUG dresses.

Those are all minor quibbles, though; I am delighted with this new design and hope to see it offered in many more prints (hopefully solid colors, too!). (Posted on 9/15/2016)
Cute but fit off.Review by Wild child

The dress is cute however I went by the pug size chart to order correct size. It fit in the waist but not the bust and would not zip. I had to send it back. I had to pay for return shipping plus they are also going to deduct shipping from my return? Makes no sense. Since I had to pay $12 to ship it back why should I get shipping deducted again, I just paid to ship it. Usually that is done if the shipping label is pre-paid. So I am losing $20 for a dress that did not fit correctly. Probably won't purchase any more items because of this. (Posted on 9/15/2016)
