On me, the waist hit in an unflattering spot - I think the waist is just a touch long for my shortwaisted self, so a larger size may have only exacerbated the problem. The belt was on the skinny side for what I would want to mask a too-long waist, but I did appreciate the grommets instead of a less useful slide belt.
Additionally, while I assumed from the photos that the skirt would be quite full, in real life it is more an A-line shape (sort of a like a gathered version of the skirt on the Heidi, IMO). While that is perfectly fine, it wasn't what I was after. I'm 5'5" and found this hit me right around knee length.
Finally, the color: this is an INTENSE, VIBRANT orange. You will feel like a Creamsicle! Again, not a bad thing, but I was just a wee bit startled at the shade in real life.
Sadly I ended up sending this one back, but I did love the twee collar and the close up print is fabulously detailed. I do wish this print were available in a Jenny or Lil Jun skirt to pair with the pink or baton rouge peasant tops, but I guess I'll just keep dreaming for now :) As always with PUG, no qualms about quality.
