I ordered the XL and I am 40-34-41 and 5'8" as reference. I could probably wear a Large but it would be super tight where as this size fits comfortably and I can move around in it. The length hits me at mid calf and the fabric is well made and sewn beautifully. A purchase I am so glad I made. Now if they only made it in red...

This dress is lined and has boning in it so you don't necessarily need to wear shape wear underneath it if you don't want to.
Note: I've washed this dress and a lot of dye comes out of it so beware! Wash it on its own first time round.

It fits perfectly, it lets me move well, and breathe!!
It's a head turner too. People are very friendly when I wear it. ;)
It really accentuates the hourglass in my shape because of the fit on the ribs. The adjustable straps are very good too - they perfect the fit. As another reviewer said, the elastic in the back is an inspired choice, it really helps make this dress seem like something I took to the seamstress...
I bought a medium btw.. My measurements are 37 29 38.

This dress in an XS is TIGHT, but does not look like I'm sausaged into it-- I believe a lot of reviewers said it fit "like a tight glove", and this is true! I will certainly need Spanx to do whatever it can to minimize my butt and hips, as the skirt is so tight on these I really don't have much room to dance. What I love about this dress is the clever elastic at the back to accommodate busts of different sizes! I read that the bust for the Jayne dress accommodated a 32 to a 34, so I decided that even though I've had an XS top that was just WAY too tiny (the Vamp top that cut off my boobs in half, unlike the Doris Top which accommodates a bigger bust on a smaller frame) I could be optimistic. The bust does fit, but again it is a bit tight for my liking at the zipper, but it's definitely wearable. I like the busts tighter on my tops though (I like the cleavage it makes) and this dress is awesome again because it does not cut the boobs off, can be adjusted to cover more or be more cleavage-y, and does not pinch to show off awkward "arm fat."
Nervous about the skirt being so tight to be honest though, I'll be drinking and dancing and don't want to split a seam, which it feels like it could happen. It's also much longer on me than the model, so I may take it in at the hem, but it's not so bad the way it is to be honest. As long as I have on really tall plaforms ;)
