I love this bolero! is going to be a great addition to my vintage work wardrobe.
I normally wouldn't pay this amount for this type of clothing but since I have bought other items from PUG I know the Quality was going to be worth it. And it is! (Posted on 10/21/2015)
Working to make the collar stand up properly, also size upReview by Helen Alice

I'm keeping this one, reasonably confident I can get the collar to stand up properly. Maybe some steam, a little spray starch or as a last resort inserting some wire for shaping. Also, as the other advice given says: size up. (Posted on 7/26/2015)

This is one of those items that makes me so devoted to PUG. The design looks simple, but when I wear it I instantly feel more feminine and sexy. The material is a comfortable cotton and because it is not shiny like the satin one, it is easily combined with basically everything. That doesn't mean it tones down your outfit, like a lot of other cardigans and boleros do. On the contrary, I've worn it together with my Spanish fan print Heidi and it made the whole outfit so so classy! The vamp collar really is a brilliant touch.
I bought my usual seperate size M, and it is indeed a bit tight (I consider my shoulders a bit broad, and my arms quite normal), so defitely do not size down. (Posted on 8/3/2014)

This bolero is a great wardrobe staple to go over my 50's-style dresses. It looks very flattering over my Grace dress. I bought the medium and found it is a good fit for my 11" bicep, although as others observed it is hard to bend your elbow when the sleeve is pulled right down. What ends up happening is the sleeve below the elbow rides up to above the elbow. The material does show the resultant wrinkles quite clearly in bright light. Apart from this I am very happy with the bolero and will wear it again and again! (Posted on 12/4/2013)

The sateen fabric makes this bolero appropriate for casual or dressier day wear. Size up if you've got particularly broad shoulders or larger arms. I have large-ish arms, so I sized up to the 2x. (Posted on 12/4/2013)

i love this bolero, there is very little stretch but the fabric gives a bit with wear. i adore the tall collar on this and it gives the right vintage feel to all of the PUG dresses and tops. :D (Posted on 12/4/2013)

I decided to go with this bolero instead of the satin one because I wanted something a bit more casual. According to the size chart I should have fit into a small. I ordered the small and while I can put the bolero on it is very tight on my arms from the elbows down. I can only bend my elbows a little. I could not bend them enough to reach my head. However I love the way it fits everywhere else. It is snug but not uncomfortable on my upper arms and fit on my shoulders and back is perfect. My fear with exchanging for the next size up is that it will fit better on my arms and then be too big everywhere else. I wish the sleeves were the same length as the doris tops, hitting above the elbow. I may bring it to a tailor before I decide to exchange or return to see if it would be possible to alter the sleeves in anyway. Aside from this I found the quality to be great and I see it as a piece I would wear often. I am always looking for something slightly dressier than my cardigans to wear out and I feel this would fit the bill. Now I just need to decide if I am keeping it. (Posted on 12/4/2013)
A nice piece--in theory.Review by Lieut. Laurel

According to my bicep measurement, I should have fit into a Medium, but I sized up just in case. The Large was still too small. Please note: there is very little stretch. There is no lining on this jacket, and it does not lay flat (see how the model holds it taught to give it the right silhouette in the picture).

I consider myself a "jacket person," and therefore have high standards when it comes to this specific type of garment. For the price, this jacket really should have interfacing or a lining to keep it looking crisp.

I will be exchanging for an XL, and will post again if I find the aforementioned problems are fixed by sizing up.
