I'm a 38DD and have a 36" waist currently, about a size 14 dress, but I'm usually about a 32" waist and have been losing weight. I bought this jacket as a gift to myself for surviving getting dumped and my recent weight loss, The size chart said the waist was 39-41". I figured the large might be too small for my chest, but I was okay if it didn't zip up; I wanted it to be a little small. Boy, was I wrong.

This thing was at least 6 inches from closing. The second I got it out of the bag, I thought I must have accidentally gotten the wrong size - it looked like a childrens' large. I still tried it on. It was extremely tight on my arms and in my armpits, there had to be 12 inches between the zipper at my chest. You know Tommy Boy scene 'fat guy in a little coat'? I'm pretty sure that would have happened had I tried to stretch my hands together in front of me. Having a jacket make you remind yourself of Chris Farley is not generally a selling point! :) It was so humiliating. I had been so excited about the jacket and I was so upset I was too big to wear it. PUGC has always been so good about making clothes for girls of many sizes but this was nowhere close.

I felt better later when my mom tried it on. I offered it to her because I had to pay money to ship it back, I thought if she wanted it, it could be a gift. She's 5'7, around 120 lbs., 32D, I think a size 4? It was a little big on her. I think a large would probably fit a dress size 8, and it would fit snug. It's a great jacket, feels really nice and would look great on, but only if you're pretty thin. (Posted on 3/16/2015)
