I placed an order on Monday night and chose Fedex Standard Overnight. Today is Tuesday, where is it?

If you placed your order after 10 am you missed Monday's cut off. Your order should arrive on Wednesday.

Yes, and we have been for years! Pin Up Girl Clothing was created in 1996 as a response to the limited choices available to hipsters everywhere, and in that time have grown beyond our wildest dreams. Our exclusive line of bikinis and retro dresses can be found at boutiques all over the United States, and on every continent except Antarctica, as well as seen on the pages of many fashion magazines. If we are busy helping other customers when you call, or if it is after Customer Service has closed, your call will be directed to voice mail. Please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as we possibly can. We encourage you to try out our Live Chat system or feel free to send us an email at info@pinupgirlclothing.com. Our response time is usually within 24 hours.

I emailed you 4 times today with my issue and I haven’t heard back. Are you ignoring me?

We are a small company with a small staff, which allows us to provide you with fantastic personalized service. Sometimes, however, this takes a little extra time. If we are exceptionally busy, we might require a full 24 hours to get back to you about your question, but please rest assured that if you have emailed us once, you will get a response! Customer Service is available during business hours of 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday,Pacific Standard Time. We do go home at night, but if your question wasn’t answered today, we promise we will do our best to help you tomorrow. Our customers are very important to us and we are never ignoring you.

Will it help if I resend my message 20 times and if EVERYTHING IS IN CAPITAL LETTERS?!?!?

It will help to clog our mailboxes, and possibly to annoy us, but it will not help us get to your email any faster. We will answer you as quickly as we can, one email will suffice. We swear.

I want to place an order, but I don’t have a credit card. Can I send you a check?

We’re sorry, but we do not accept checks or money orders for payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Paypal. You can set up a Paypal account even if you do not have a credit card.

What is Paypal and how do I use it?

PayPal enables any individual or business with an email address to securely, easily and quickly send and receive payments online. Your account can attach to your credit card or bank account for payment funding. Visit their site at www.paypal.com and click the Sign Up button at the top of the PayPal home page to set up your account. They have an extensive help section to guide you if you are having trouble. If you are thinking of using Paypal to pay for an order, secure your account BEFORE you place your order with us as we will not be able to process your order until we have received payment.

I saw an item on another website for less, will you beat their price?

We cannot vouch for the quality of items or service you will receive from any other company, and therefore we do not attempt to match or beat their prices. Our pricing is based on many factors, and we strive to price items fairly and competitively. We take great pride in our superior product and service quality, and hope that rock-bottom pricing is not the only thing that is important to our customers when they make purchases.

I saw this really great thing on your site a couple of months ago and now I can’t find it. It was really great, do you still have it?

You may try doing a search for the item using our search engine, but there is a possibility that the item is no longer available. Our stock is constantly changing and evolving as we discover new companies and products. Some items are re-ordered, some are retired to make room for new items. Items tend to sell out quickly, so if you see that great thing, don’t wait! It may be gone!
However, much of our Pinup Couture styles, and many styles from our vendors do come back in stock. Check the item description - if it states that we will have more soon, please email us at info@pinupgirlclothing.com to be put on a waiting list for the item, and we will email you as soon as our stock arrives.

I received an email from you telling me that an item I was waiting forever for was back in stock, then waited a few days, and now it's gone again! This is extremely frustrating, why don't you make enough of your styles?

You'd be amazed at how large our production runs actually are! We make a hundreds of pieces of a style at a time, but sometimes, people REALLY like it, and we have been known to sell out within days. We're sorry! We are responding to the demand by upping our production quantities even further, and in the meantime, I can place you back on the waiting list? *runs*

Can I order if I live outside of the US?

Yes, you can. We ship usually by Federal Express. This offers speed, package tracking, and insurance. It does cost more, but we’ve found it to be the only reliable method for international shipping. We charge a variable rate starting at of $42.

But I’m only in Canada!

Unfortunately, there is no cheaper way to send a package with both a tracking number and insurance. Even to Canada.

My item doesn’t fit, can I return it?

Pin Up Girl Clothing boasts the absolute best return policy in the business. If for any reason you are not totally satisfied with your purchase email returns@pinupgirlclothing.com with the details of why your returning the product and we will give you a Return Authorization Number to write on the package before you send it back to us. I tried on this thong/panty/bikini without wearing any underwear, and I want to return it now. Will you accept it?

No. Oh God, no.

I tried to return a thong/panty/bikini that I had tried on without wearing underwear, and you refused to refund me and sent the package back to me! If I call up and scream at all of your customer service representatives and threaten to report your company to the Better Business Bureau, would that help me get the refund I feel I deserve?

In a word, no. And we would like to ask a question in return: If we had sent the item to you in that condition, would you have accepted it? We will always ship you unworn, unsoiled items in new condition, and only unworn, unsoiled items in new condition will be accepted by us in return.

Is there anything that isn’t returnable?

Sale items, underwear and makeup. Halloween costumes are returnable up until October 15th of each year. After that point, your Halloween item is final sale - no exceptions. See below for more details regarding Halloween costume returns.

I just realized the package I meant to return has been sitting in my car for a month.

For refund, we must have the item back within 14 days of you receiving it. After 14 days, we can issue store credit only. Items older then 30 days are considered Final Sale. Please see our return policy for details by clicking here .

I want to cancel my order, but it’s already shipped. Should I just refuse the package?

Please do not refuse the package. If you have changed your mind, repackage and return the item with a copy of your receipt within 14 days. Refused or undeliverable packages will be restocked and are eligible for store credit only, minus shipping costs AND return shipping charges. I love a sale - how do I find out about Pinup Girl Clothing sales and promotions?

I'm glad you asked! There are two very easy ways of finding out about sales we run, and new items we've added. The first is to go to the bottom of any page of our site and enter your email address in the space provided, to receive our blog postings (usually 2-3 posts a week, on average) via email. The second is to friend us on MySpace. We love this option because it gives us a chance to "see" our customers, and get real-time feedback from you - which helps us cater our item offerings to you!

We will accept any costume for return or exchange up until midnight on October 15th. After this date, Halloween costumes are final sale and non-returnable. An orange form will be included with your Halloween Costume and accessory purchase which will contain clear instructions for any return or exchange you need to make before October 15th.

But the size I need is sold out!

Costumes sell out every year! Please order early to insure the best selection of costume styles and sizes.

It’s after October 15th and I want a refund on this costume!!! Will you refund my money if I get really, really mad?!?

We’re sorry, but we cannot issue refunds for Halloween costumes after October 15th. We hope you won’t get really, really mad, but even if you do, we still will not issue you a refund.

I gave my underage daughter my credit card and set her loose, unsupervised, on your website, and she purchased a skimpy Halloween costume that is wildly inappropriate for a girl her age. Will you let me return this costume?

As long as you are able to get it back to us by October 15th. Halloween costumes received by us after October 15th may not be returned for a refund.

But you sold this costume to a minor!!

We sold this costume to YOU. You made the decision to let your underage daughter shop online with your credit card, not us. For more information, please see this item.

You won’t be able to tell that I wore this costume to a party before returning it, will you?

Yes, yes we will. And we’ll ship it right back to you at your expense. All items for return must be in the condition you received them, and in their original packaging.

But I didn’t know that I couldn’t return it because I never read any of this information before ordering! Am I exempt?

These information pages are for YOU. All of our policies are described in detail on the site, and we hope that you will read and understand them before placing your order. But the policies still stand, even if you didn’t read them.

Have you made these policies because you hate customers?

No, we love customers! We especially love happy, returning customers and the friends they tell about us. 40% of our business is repeat business, and that makes us very happy. Our policies about returns, refunds, shipping, etc., are the result of years of experience, and they help us to keep our standards high, our pricing fair, and to serve our customers to the best of our ability.

You have a great selection, but I noticed you don't sell *Brand*. Why not?

We may not know about it! If there's a brand you'd like to see sold at Pinup Girl Clothing, tell us about it! Contact the brand and tell them to hit us up! If we like the brand as much as you do, we'll carry it. We do keep our eyes open and strive to bring you the best selection of cute, retro clothing, shoes, and accessories, but sometimes we miss stuff. That's where you come in!

We admit it - our customers are smokin' hot. If you'd like to model for Pinup Girl, friend the Pinup Girl Models MySpace page, and read all the blogs. Then follow all the instructions contained in the blogs. Good luck!

This FAQ rules - can I copy it and paste it on my own retail website? I'll change your store name in the FAQ to my own store name, so it will be completely different. That won't make me a jerk or anything, right? BFFs forever??
