Just wanted to let you know I received my black Marilyn Bathing suit today and am totally in LOVE with it! You know how you usually hope that no one invites you anywhere that you would have to be seen in a bathing suit? Well, I'm actually looking forward to having a chance to wear this around people!! After having children, I needed something to camoflauge a less than perfect midsection - this does the trick beautifully! It also provides ample support for a DD bust. For the first time in a LOOOONNNNGGG time - I feel comfortable (and, dare I say it?) sexy in a bathing suit! I am thinking about ordering one in another color! The Marilyn ROCKS!

Absolutely. I loved the dress, it had a great fit and looked just like Marilyn's! Plus I loved the material, as I love all the things Dixiefried makes. I can tell a lot of effort went into the construction of the dress and that's why I continue to shop with Dixiefried. In this tine period, unfortunately, many retailers skip on quality and believe me people notice quality. So in essence, I loved the dress! Plus I bought the Niagara Dress and I loved that one even more! Keep up the good work guys!

I ordered the Misfits dress and the Bettie Page sailor dress and I absolutely LOVE them. They are both beautifully made and really flattering for my figure.
I have a party in August that I specifically ordered the dresses for and I don't think I can wait that long to wear them! I will be sending photographic evidence to you of how marvellous your clothes make me look...
I have been looking at the site for a while and I was slightly reluctant to order, as normally with internet cothing sites, the items don't come close to the on-line pictures shown, or the material is of poor quality. But I am very glad I placed my order with you it will definitely not be the last time :)

Everything it's just perfect and what can I say about that dress.... it's just soo beautiful. I actually purchased it for a marriage and I am sure it will be a very classy outfit.
I also want to add that for a medium size it actually fall a little more softer on me which I really like. Sometimes I am a little bit squeezed up in a medium but not with this line :D And no, I definetly haven't lost any weight! LOL

I've been waiting to purchase a Trophy Queen bag since, well, forever and you guys sent me a coupon right when they went back in stock! I was leaving for Florida and depressed I couldn't use it that week so I sent it to the house in FL hoping it would get there in time. I have no idea how you did it but the bag beat me there!! 12-4-08: I recently bought the Marilyn Style bathing suit from your website. I can honestly say I have never been so happy with a bathing suit EVER in my life!! This was the first bathing suit I couldn't wait to wear and show off. Pinup Girl Clothing did a beautiful job with the way it was made and the material. I was a little skeptical order a suit online, but was so amazed at how gorgeous it was and how it fit perfectly.
I bought the bathing suit for our holiday trip to Florida. Unfortunately, while we were there our car was broken into. They took our 2 GPS, I pod, my son's DVD player and because we were planning on going to the beach the next day my bathing suit was in there. The cops probably thought I was crazy because I was more mad about my bathing suit being stolen than anything else! It burns me up terrible to think some other girl is going to be wearing my bathing suit that I spent ninety dollars on and worst of all never got a chance to wear it, except for just trying it on.
I plan to buy another one as soon as I can afford to. That bathing suit had exceeded my expectations and I wanted Pinup Girl to know.

6-27-2007: I really enjoyed your fast service but I must say I was a little disapointed with the amout you quoted the total cost. On the customs form you quoted it at over $330!! I was only charged $260 on my credit card. The reason this bothers me is because I had to pay all the GST and PST on the amount you said the total cost was (330) This made me owe an additional $55 from customs!! It should have been much less if you had written the correct amount. Because of this I am unsure if I will shop from your company again. I just cant afford to pay that much extra with every shipment.
6-24-2007: I am so glad that I found pinup girl clothing. The clothes are unique and fun and their dresses actually fit me! (Being a busty girl who is NOT a plus size generally makes it near impossible to find dresses.)I called with questions a couple of times - they were extremely helpful. Purchasing is very easy.
I do wish there was an alternative to the USPS for regular shipping (like UPS.)I had to go to the post office to track down my package twice. This is the fault of the post office - not pinup girl, however in general, I find UPS less annoying.
The only other suggestion I would make for improvement is that they set their web site up to be a bit more user-friendly. For example, Trashy Diva dresses are hidden in streetwear. Someone might miss them.

The site is beautiful, easy to navigate and most importantly, they carry items that I love in sizes that will fit me (plus sizes)! PUG runs regular sale days for their return customers making the deal even better. I gave an overall score of 4 because of the limited shipping options (I scored shipping a 3). USPS is the only shipping op for the US With USPS it always means a trip to the post office to sign for the package, and I cant get USPS delivery at my work. I can get delivery with Fedex or UPS. Dont hesitate to shop with pin-up girl! Theyre great!

I have been told as of 4/18 that I should received it in 2 weeks. Im a little disappointed because the site said it was available, 4-6 days for shipping is fine with me, but I will be going on 1 month from the time of order to the time of receipt on an item that was supposedly available. It would have been nicer to know realistically how long it was going to take to get here. I must say, the staff are very helpful, when I sent an email inquiry about the suit they responded right away so the customer service is excellent and I love the products. I guess that makes me willing to wait!

The models are adorable and after emailing a customer service rep, I realized that I could actually fit into some of their outfits. The ease and speed of dealing with customer service was a breath of fresh air in this era of not being able to get live, knowledgeable folks on the phone or through the Internet. My package was sent via priority mail and arrived in great condition. I had a follow up email with customer service and was promptly (within 3 days) refunded the money from one dress which didnt fit quite right. I will without a doubt shop on this site again.

4-3-2007: This is my second purchase from pinup girl clothing. Both times the purchase has been easy, the service and delivery fast and efficient. And the products are perfect. Love it! The only not so good thing is that there is only premium international shipping, which is a bit pricey. But its not that bad.
4-2-2007: I ordered a dress and a top. Since I was unsure of the sizing, I ordered the dress in a Medium and the top in a Small. Based on the sizing info chart and the fact that I usually wear size 6 or 8, I figured the items would fit OK. The dress fit fine, but had to exchange the top for a Medium. I think that either the clothing runs small, or perhaps it is geared more towards girls in their teens and twentys, rather than those a bit older.
Both my original order and my exchange item came quite quickly, although there was no paperwork at all enclosed with the second top in the event that my exchange item had also not worked out. (The company website says that you are supposed to include a copy of the invoice when returning items.)
The items are super cute and I received a compliment the first time I wore the top, however, I think they are a tad pricey for what you get. As an admitted clothes horse, however, I am a satisfied customer overall.

The only issues I would have are 1) I wish they would carry the larger shoe sizes in 1/2 sizes (like a 9 1/2) 2) I found a dress I bought from them on the manufactures web site for less & 3) I wish they would drop ship the order to my door w/out me needing to be home to sign for it which isnt always possible. I ordered from another site on the same day as pinup girl and I tell you I will only be buying from Pinup Girl from now on! When they say a size is a certain measurement it actually is! Other sites claim one size and it turns out not to be then you get stuck paying to ship it to them and for them to ship back a different size, which turns out also not to be accurate. I am a 36, 24,36 B cup and that other stores large which claimed to be a 38 bust was still too small. I am not fat, but that gets depressing. If any possible purchasers of Pinup Girl read this you can trust your going to get a perfect fit and a quality made piece of clothing. Thank You!

I like that they post the size measurements on the site as I live overseas and prefer to know that an item will fit. The one time I have returned an item there was no problem at all and another size was sent promptly.
The only problem I had was not knowing that when you order from America and the total cost is over a certain amount you may have to pay extra duties which were quite costly.
Check with the country you live in to determine what the amount is.

1-15-07: There was an item that i ordered that was not shipped. It turned out that they were sold out & let me know 12 days later (after I get an email that it was shipped). They claim that theyre busy & that the fulfill orders as they are made. They should at least have their website updated promptly, especially during the Christmas season. This was a Christmas gift for my wife & I find out on Dec. 20th. Now I have to scramble to find something else.
They did offer me a 20% discount on another item but Christmas was in 5 days. The other items that I ordered did arrived on time & in great shape.

They will send an email letting you know and offering other suggestions of similiar item. The merchandize is great quality and if for some reason it doesnt work their return policy is painless. I recently ordered Halloween Costumes from them and they arrived in plenty of time for Halloween and were superb quality.

I ordered two cardigans....which arrived quickly considering I live on the otherside of the world in New Zealand! I had a few enquiries which were always answered pretty fast give or take a day and Ariel (customer service) was always really friendly. The items i received were in excellent condition! The price for the cardigans was one of the cheapest I could find on the internet, the only slightly annoying thing is the compulsory $32.00 shipping fee which you have to pay for International Priority and then if the shipping is less you send back the receipt and they refund the difference. It just takes a little more time but isnt a major issue! I would absloutely do it again

It took a while for the items to be shipped, I believe 7 business days. When I asked a question about my order, I got a response back in about 48 hours, not too bad. 5-13-2006: I love pinupgirl clothing. My only complaint is the size of the dress I had purchased wasnt in stock and I wasnt notified about it until a week later.. after I had contacted them. It worked out for the best because the size they asked if they could send fits me perfect. They returned my emails within hours of my sending them and were extremely helpful. Once we got the problem fixed they shipped the dress right away. I would come back again, but not if I was in a hurry to recieve the item.

My only recommendation would be to offer your own line of bathing suits for sale as separate tops and bottoms to enable customers to purchase different sizes and offer them the ability to mix and match different styles.

2-01-2006: First of all, I just want to say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE the dresses I got from PinUpGirlClothing.Com, the dresses fit beautifully and I have never gotten more compliments than when I wear these dresses.
However, that being said, as this was my first purchase from the site, the shipping made me nervous - I got an email notification quite quickly that my order had been processed and had shipped. It included a tracking number to check on it progress, but when I clicked on it, or tried
entering the number on the US Postal System website, there was no record of it in the system. I tried calling Pin Up Girl Clothing, and no one answered and there was no voicemail - at that point I was sure I had been taken by a scam. Luckily, my package cam the next day before I could
completely flip out. I will definitely order again, I just really hope the tracking number works next time, and that if I need help, someone will pick up the phone, or at least let me leave a voicemail. But again! I recieved the product within a week (remember I live in Canada, so this was great!). The bikini itself is perfect! The only downfall is that I have a booty and the bottoms were alittle small (It would be nice to order seperates - different sizes for top and bottom), but none the less I loved it!
I would definatly buy again from this site. They have beautiful clothes and I love the fact that they use girls with normal sizes as models.

1-17-2006: I give Pin-up Girl Clothing good marks because they have cute, original products, and their customer service people are helpful, friendly, and get back to you as quickly as they can. I ordered 2 swimsuits
from them, and they accidentally shipped the wrong color for one of them.
I simply e-mailed them, and Ariel, one of their customer service representatives), was happy to tell me how to go about getting what I wanted. She even offered to pay me back for my shipping costs incurred from shipping the product back to them.
I only wish that they were not sold out of some colors in some cuts. But thats not a problem with them or their products -- it seems that they are a small business and either have a hard time keeping up with the demand for their cute swimsuits, or do not plan to restock those items to
make room for new styles.
I am looking forward to the next batch of innovative and sexy swimwear they come out with - and any excuse to buy one of their pretty dresses.

They shipped it on the Wednesday of the NEXT week (ordered it on Friday the week before) then recd it on Thursday. So, if its one day priority shipping for $25 I should have recd it on Saturday of the same week.
The clothing items rocked! and I will order more from them in the future and try to do it in advance to save the costly shipping charges.

11-2-2005: The Princess Peach Halloween Costume I ordere was great!! There was only one problem. I ordered the 2 etxra options, the pedicoat puffy skirt thing to wear under the dress and puff it up, and the knee high stockings. Unfortunitly the knee highs did not arrive with the order, and did not come later either. They werent that expensive and I my roommate had an extra pair so I made due. So other then not receiving the knee highs that i paid for everything went well. I chose the fastest shipping option when I ordered it on wed and it arrived at my house by Friday.
So I was very happy with that because I needed the costume for a party on Sat.

I ordered a large amount of stuff as I wanted to try a couple of sizes. I kept one Marlene dress which I love. But I had to pay a high price to receive it. I had to pay delivery to PinUpGirl (totally understandable), but to receive it here I had to pay a load of Tax & a further
delivery charge to get it delivered to the UK... so I wound up paying the $30 delivery plus another �30 tax/delivery (not the fault of PinUpGIrl - just the UK stupid buracracy.
I thought the Marlene dress was excellent quality & good fabric, I was not keen on the fabric for the pencil skirt - if that was the same fabric as the Marlene dress it would be better as it is heavier and therefore more shaply (just a thought).
I returned some stuff - and was refunded promptly.
Shipping Options rated less highly because if I wanted to change part of my order for a different size I would have to pay the $30 again, would have made it to expensive really.

If you order an item with a 2-3 day availability and choose express mail, you should expect to see your order in about 5 business days from the day your order was placed (which is about 8 days, when you factor in weekends). As for the tracking numbers - The Post office does not always update the tracking information to the website immediately. We apologize for this, but we have literally no control over it.

The order shipped and arrived on time. It contained all the right items. The merchant offers limited shipping options through USPS, but I appreciate that they probably do not have the volume to offer other shippers. They only offer tracked shipping, however, and that is extremely
comforting.
My only critique of the merchant was that they buried a discount code for high-dollar orders not in their FAQ but deep withing their return
policy (Pinupgirlclothing.com Comment - We do that as an incentive for customers who take the time to read our store policies before ordering!)and would not apply it retroactively.
I would gladly shop with pinupgirlclothing again (which works out well, because they give returning customers personal discount codes).
9-30-05: When I called the Customer Serives department to inquire on my purchase I actaully dealt with a real life person from the minute she picked up the phone.
I never had to use a touch tone directory or even wait while an operator could assist me.

6-2-05:The reason I ordered from the site was the quality of the return policy. Most other sites that had similar product had a poor return policy. Sizing charts are always poor on web orders and this site was similar.
The product was shipped promptly. However, it didnt get scanned in to the shipper system for 3 days and took 6 business days to deliver. I think that was more of a problem with the Shipper than the vendor.
All and all I am satisfied with my purchase.

Aparently they also have one of the most secure information policies around. They wont send you anything if your billing, shipping, credit info, etc. dont match up.

-- thin 100% cotton, etc) and of course you couldnt go wrong with more photos (maybe on people instead of mannequins).
But the selection on the site is great and I know when I order next time i will all get to me in time and in good shape.

8-5-04: The customer service was exceptional. I e-mailed them, inquiring about my order. The website said that the item shipped in something like 2 or 3 days. After about a week passed and I had not gotten a message
that it had shipped, I began to wonder, so I contacted them.
They replied promptly that an error had been made on the website, updated me as to when the item would be coming and gave me an option to back out of the purchase. I responded that the timing would be fine and I wanted to maintain my order, as I was not in a hurry for the item.
They then sent me a discount code that I could use for a future shopping trip to their site. I have not yet used the discount, but I do intend to in the future.
